Excellent service from Keweenaw Cars!

The staff I had contact with were very nice, but I was disappointed with the amount of time time it took to have my car problem diagnosed.

Friendly and knowledgeable

The sales staff was very easy to work with. They were very accommodating, listened to what my budget constraints were, and searched for all possible options that would fit my needs. They didn't try to sell me something that was out of my price range or pressure me into making a snap decision for purchasing a specific vehicle. This dealership is really great to work with.

I requested an alignment check, partly Beira a 6 hour round trip to have that all too common issue resolved. I have purchased many new 3/4 ton pickup trucks and it was always a flip of the coin, if they were in spec. Unfortunately that request was ignored and I was given the standard you have to wait until?????????

Friendly staff and great service

Chase was very patient and thorough with us as we decided what all of our options were. He explained everything to us in ways that made sense and was not pushy in any way and gave us the time we needed to think about what we wanted to do. He was very understanding with our price range and helped us navigate the options that fit within that range. We walked out after finally deciding on what we were going to do very happy with our new car!

I had an incredible experience from my first call to maintenance completion. After being very frustrated with GM's online maintenance scheduling, which is completely useless, my attitude towards GM was completely changed by the folks at Keweenaw Chevrolet. Everyone I spoke with was incredibly friendly. I was able to schedule an appointment for maintenance the same day I called. The check-in was very quick, and all the maintenance (oil change and tire rotation) was completed in under 30 minutes. It could not have gone better. Oh, wait, it could. Because it was my first maintenance appointment, it was free. I drove 90 miles for this appointment because of the great experience I had when I purchased my vehicle from Keweenaw Chevrolet. It was well worth the drive. They are great ambassadors for GM!!!

Everyone is always so friendly and helpful.

My truck has been in 3 times for the same intermittent issue with radio and turn signal sound not working. The radio has been updated each time without any change in the issue.

Had run in to trouble removing transmission line from radiator. Service people were very careful and considerate avoiding having to replace radiator. We’re in constant contact with me informing me of progress. They did avoid punching a hole in radiator. Job well done by Jared and crew

Great experience at Keweenaw Chevy buying our new Malibu!

We had bought s car in December and did not try the AC until it got hot in May. It did not work at all. Kew Chev technicians looked at it and said they would fix it free of charge as they couldn’t find a leak and the reservoir was empty, so it must have been an issue before we bought it. They fixed it and now the AC has been working well!

Excellent service!

It was good. The only criticism I have is that I had about 3 different people working with me at one point over the course of a couple days. The one sales person that was assigned to me was great, super knowledgeable. But he was way too busy to even get a chance to talk to me about the vehicle until I was already in the process of purchasing it. Other than that, the staff was helpful and friendly and really took their time to teach us about the new car and its features.

I inquired about a vehicle that they had on their website. When I started asking more questions about it, it became clear that the vehicle didn't have exactly what I wanted. They assured me that they would find me what I was looking for, and they delivered. I am now the proud owner of a Cypress Grey 2025 Chevy Tahoe that has all of the features that I was hoping for. I have dealt with this garage for more than 70 years from Calumet to Houghton. Anytime I have had a problem and called the garage, I have always been taken in right away and services are always the best. This is why I always come to your garage except for when I am away for winter because I know the service is the best.

Brody took time to show us several vehicles, even tho it was near closing time when we arrived. He answered all of our questions and was very polite and helpful. Eventually it was after hours and he didn't rush us at all. Brody even ran inside to print out info on 3 vehicles of interest. He then followed up with a quote and email. Very pleased with the service.

I've been bringing our vehicles to Keweenaw Chevrolet for regular service work for years, so it only makes sense to purchase our vehicles from them too. All of the employees are always super helpful and friendly. I had a wonderful sales experience and highly recommend Keweenaw Chevrolet.

I have purchased vehicles for over 60 years through our local dealership here and have never had a bad experience. If I have a problem, I usually get in right away or the next day and that is why I stay with you because of all the great service.

Scheduling was easy. Received reminders via text. Arrived early. Took my vehicle in right away. Service was quick and price was reasonable.

A lot of muddy footprints in the bed after the tourneau cover was installed, the floor mat was on top of the throttle pedal and the idle rpm would not drop below 1000 RPM, the wait time for my plate was unacceptable, can’t all be blamed on Seceraty or State!

I was sent home with a note stating that the plug tester I was using on the 120V plug in the bed not for vehicle use, at home a tried a 120v device with two blade polarized ground plug and a device with two blade and round ground plug, neither worked with the engine running at idle. I don’t feel the problem was corrected.

Had first oil change and asked about alignment as truck was pulling to left. They changed oil and said they adjusted alignment. Truck still pulls to left, steering wheel is about 5 degrees to keep vesicle straight on highway, very annoying

Jared and his team treated me as if we were best of friends for many years. The quality of service was the best. I thought about buying another brand of vehicle (not GM) but the quality of service at Keweenaw Chev convinced me to stay with GM/GMC.

The employee I worked with was friendly and helpful; however, the issue I experienced was related to the scheduling process rather than the staff. I scheduled a 12:00 appointment for an oil change and was informed only after arriving that the service department was on lunch and I would need to wait. Lunch breaks are reasonable; allowing customers to schedule appointments during that time is not. I was told “it’s the system.” In 2026, that response is not acceptable. A scheduling system that permits appointments when service is unavailable reflects a failure to maintain even basic operational accuracy. I deliberately booked this appointment during my lunch break, arrived on time, and still waited an hour and a half for a routine oil change — despite having an appointment. That renders the concept of scheduling meaningless. I purchased my vehicle from this dealership and receive frequent calls and emails promoting additional services. The contrast is notable: there is consistent outreach when sales are involved, but no communication to prevent or correct an invalid appointment time that the dealership already knew was unavailable. This was not a staffing issue. It was a systems and management issue. Customers should not be expected to absorb the consequences of internal scheduling failures.

The dealer is Fine - its the radio ( Info center) in my truck that sucks, The radio goes out for a couple seconds all the time! mt morning commute is 3 minutes, the other day the radio stopped 9 times in that 3 minutes. GM needs to do something about this.

I just thoroughly enjoyed my Trax but I live in snow country and was in the need for a car with AWD! I traded my Trax for a Trailblazer. I'm sure I will enjoy my Trailblazer as much as I did my Trax! My concern is for all the add on, features, accessories that you offer that consumers really don't need or care to use that increases the cost of the vehicle to the consumer!

I came in for my very first oil change. Staff was very courteous and quick. I didn't have to wait long to get the task completed. I also appreciated, though this sounds trivial, that when I got into my car, there was no tag hanging on the mirror or on my car stating the number to identify it and no paper matt left in the vehicle. I had a great experience buying the car from the dealership and it just continues to be great. I highly recommend the dealership to anyone that is looking for a vehicle and or service.

Had to get my transmission serviced had a slow shifting issue was gonna get a flush done but the guy took it for a test ride checked the fluid and told me it was fine basically, other than a pump in the transmission starting to slow down, he suggested I don't rumba. Bunch of money into unless I have to! Peace of mind acquired and money saved on my visit! Definitely a good expe

Sales people were helpful and informative. The final paperwork took nearly 3 hours while I was waiting at the dealership. Financing was set up prior to my arrival so not sure why it took so long.

Not, I told service department rotate tires and when my wife came up to get oil changed and tires rotated service person said it isn't necessary. No I have to take it somewhere else to get rotation done. We live 50 miles from Houghton. I was specific about my request. They should have called me. Now I am concerned about the serve department treats all people weather they something fixed or not. NOT HAPPY. BOUGHT THRED VEHICLES FROM THERE..

When I made my oil change appointment I mentioned that I had bought the vehicle a few months back and how much I like it. The guy I talked to said the first oil change is free. When I brought it in I said that I was checking in for my free oil change. The guy then came to the waiting area and said it's not free since it's not GM Certified. I told him that I was told it'd be free. He gave me $10 off with a coupon he had. I feel like good customer service would've honored the free oil change being that I was told it'd be free and eaten the cost. Maybe my next one will be free to make up for it? Thank you

I brought my car in thinking it needed a front end alignment. Sent me home in a very nice loaner car. And called me with good news there was nothing wrong. But I had to pay for the them to make sure everything was ok. But now I know my car is fine and I’m safe to drive.

I understand that being shorthanded can cause longer service times. The communication on this situation was terrible. Was told 2 hours for repairs which ended up taking 4 hours. No one wants to sit in a dealer for 4 hours waiting for repairs. I believe they need to stop taking in work they cannot be finish in the time they quoted. loaners should be available to customers who have any repairs that take longer than 45 minutes.
